It was a great day with breezy warm but mild temps, sunny to hazy overcast.  Nice fishin weather!  95 teams met to compete at Mosquito on 7-9-06. It was one of the best weigh-ins in our 7 year history!  A total of 363 bass were weighed for a total weight of 541.86lb.  An avg wt of 1.5lb.  Total mortality 2 bass at the scales.  There was a 6 bass limit and 39 teams brought in a limit.  Winning patterns included fishing deep weeds on the main lake with spinnerbaits and picking with a variety of baits such as tubes, jigs, and plastic worms.  Some reported catching theirs by flippin and pitchin shoreline wood and cover.  Overall the main lake bite was ON! Event paid 13 places and 3 big bass prizes. Here's the top 13:
