The weather was lousy as several fronts made their way through the weekend making for a very different bite. Those relying on the docks bite were surprised to find little if any fish using docks. Those who fished deep water for smallmouths made the right choice. Lots of 5 fish limits limits were weighed each day and many 4+5lb bass were weighed each day. Winning pattern was reportedly a white crankbait fished on deep weed edges in about 13' of water. Their pattern was solid for 2 days and a new Lakes record for total weight smashed the old one. There was a total payout of over $20,300.00 in cash plus prizes for the event. The event paid 16 places, 2 big bass prizes each day. Other cash awards were presented for other achievements during the regular season as well. Here is how it all finished.
