MOSQUITO #2 ~ 09

Day started out fairly windy and warm but ended up being a good day to be on the water. Well, isn't any day good to be on the water!??! 58 teams participated at the Mosquito qualifier on 7-26 and caught 244 bass weighing 442.50lbs. The event paid 8 places and 2 Big Basses.

Here are the top 5 and Big Bass:

1st- Gabe Cooper and Eric Kossack from Canton, Louisville 16.27 $1000.

2nd- Nick and George Prvonozac from Warren 15.60 $800.

3rd- Ray Drew and Andrew Christofaris from Mantua, Hiram 15.02 $600.

4th- Brian Divito and Jake Fordyce from Trafford, Harrison City PA 13.96 $500.

5th- Mark Balas and Ron Kotch from Barberton, Clinton 12.94 $400.

Big Bass- Mark McQuate from Ashland 3.69 $530.

2nd Big Bass was tied between 3rd and 4th place teams. split $200.

Next and final qualifier this season will be at Berlin on August 23, at Bonner Rd. ramp starting at 6:30am sharp!
