The Lakes Trails 4th stop was at Berlin Lake on July13th. A warm weather mix made for an interesting day. Smallmouth fishing is picking up now as lots of smallies in the 2-3 lb range were weighed. Anglers reported catching fish by flipping shoreline cover and by using a drop-shot rig fished in the 10ft of water range. Event paid 9 places and 2 big bass prizes.
