A great day to be on the water. Water temps rose into the 50's by afternoon. Warming, sunny and clear conditions. 98 teams fished our 2nd opening event. The 1st event on 4-07-07 was cancelled due to unsafe driving conditions from Cleveland and surrounding snow
belt areas. 189 fish were weighed for a total weight of 317.13lbs. All were treated and released alive. Event paid 15 places and 3 big bass prizes. Here are the top 5 and Big Bass:
1st- Marty Salchak and Dale Corley from Akron, New Franklin 11.63lbs $1000. also qualified for Ranger bonus $1000.
also split tie for 2nd and 3rd Big Bass $400.
2nd- Greg Doane and Ron Wyatt from Akron, Atwater 11.49lbs $800.
3rd- Eric Scott and Eric Guinter from Mogadore,Alliance 11.33lbs $600.
4th- Mark McQuate and Steve Hatfield from Ashland,Mifflin 10.93lbs $500.
